The brickies weren't on the job yesterday but they were back at work on the site today. The brick walls along the western (left) side of the house and the rear of the house are now completed. The brick wall along the eastern (right) side of the house is almost finished. The brick wall on the garage (western wall) is only half done and the front of the house is about half done. All being well, I think all the bricklaying will be finished in the next 1 to 2 working days. It's looking really good.

Next Tuesday week, 15 July, will be the 3 month mark of the construction. McDonald Jones Homes commenced work on the site back on 15 April, already 3 months ago.
At the end of July we've been in rental accommodation for 6 months. The landlord and Real Estate Agent are agreeable with extending our current lease for another 3 months.
All being well, we're hoping to be in the new home by sometime in October or, by no later than 25 November 2014 (being the latest possible end date as quoted by McDonald Jones Homes)... fingers crossed. The time really feels like it's flying by now that construction work is progressing.
