Finally, I managed to get some photos at midday today that show the current status of construction work as at Wednesday 16 July 2014.
The bricklaying work at the front of the house looks like it's now all finished. It looks like there's still a small section on the garage side wall where the remaining bricks need to be laid.
The concrete front steps have now also been laid. In time, all being, well, they will be dressed-up a bit more with a painted / stencilled concrete finish to blend in with the new driveway.
