Well the portable toilet (a 'Martin Hire') was delivered and installed in the front yard yesterday (for the demolisher's use).
I did a drive-by yesterday afternoon and I caught the loud, neurotic, nextdoor neighbour prowling around inside our fenced front yard and making a nice mess of things! Perfect timing to catch her in the act and tell her to get-out!
Pete and I drove-by the old house this morning and were delighted to see that ANA Demolitions have (today) finally begun the demolition work. They are currently removing all the Asbestos. It will take 3 days to safely remove the Asbestos in full compliance with all Occupational and Environmental Health & Safety precautions before the house can be knocked-down and the land levelled in preparation for McDonald Jones Homes' construction work.
It's really happening at last! Here's a photo of the demolition site on its first day.
