I
drove by the old place again this afternoon. There's still no signs of
any demolition work that was supposed to have started yesterday. Not happy Jan!
We
hadn't received any word or updates from ANA Demolitions regarding the
delay so I sent them an E-mail earlier today to query the current status.
ANA Demolitions have now phoned me. They've explained that they are unfortunately running behind schedule due to the intermittent rain that we had in Sydney last week. That rain delayed the completion of their other demolition jobs already at hand. All being well, they now anticipate they will be erecting the security fencing to the front of our property on Thursday this week (6 March 2014) and they're now hoping to commence the demolition work on and from Monday 10 March 2014. All fingers crossed.
In the meantime, we're still just waiting... waiting... waiting.
