solidarity & empathy for our fellow human beings who are denied their
fundamental human rights & equality of rights before the law, both here in
Australia & around the world; & particularly our brothers & sisters
facing draconian times, persecution, imprisonment & death, in Uganda, Russia,
India, Papua New Guinea & elsewhere.
At this
time of the 36th Annual Sydney Mardi Gras festival, it’s pertinent
to understand that behind the satire, glitz & glamour of the Mardi Gras, it
remains at its core, a civil justice demonstration & a movement for equal human
rights & law reform. Happy Mardi
