Only one more sleep to go now until our final inspection tomorrow morning with the Site Supervisor and the handing-over of the house keys to us. We're still not sure about when McDonald Jones Homes will be completing the final fixes to the home that Private Certifying Agent has requested.
We met a concreter on site this evening to arrange the quotes for the new concrete driveway, paved area, Alfresco Cabana flooring, and the front entry and patio areas etc. It was such a pleasure to meet a very friendly tradesman who is passionate about his work and takes a lot of pride in what he does. He provided a very good quote and assured us he could start doing the work in 2 weeks time (circa 1 December 2014). He estimated for 3 days work initially, and then said he'd have to return in 3 weeks time to complete the final work (that's going to be sailing very close to Christmas and the New Year).
